Rural Intersection Safety in Minnesota

Rural intersections, like the one at Hwy 56 and County 9 in Warsaw Township, often pose challenges due to higher speeds and limited visibility. Crashes at these locations can be severe, especially when involving larger vehicles like commercial trucks.

Drivers are urged to exercise caution when approaching rural intersections, adhere to traffic laws, and remain vigilant for cross-traffic. Enhanced signage and awareness can reduce the risk of collisions at these intersections.
