Bath Township, OH (November 8, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle crash claimed the life of a Xenia man on Friday morning in Bath Township. The accident occurred around 9:05 a.m. on State Route 235 near W. Hyde Road.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that William Adams, 23, was riding a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle northbound on State Route 235 when he lost control. The motorcycle overturned, and Adams slid across the center line into the path of a southbound 1999 Jeep SUV. The SUV, driven by Kreig Zink II, 28, of Sidney, struck Adams.
Adams was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. The driver of the Jeep was unharmed.
State Route 235 remained closed for several hours as investigators worked to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash. The Ohio Department of Transportation has advised drivers to use alternate routes as the investigation continues.
