Winsted Township, MN (November 5, 2024) – A multi-vehicle accident occurred on November 4, 2024, at approximately 9:50 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 7 and McLeod County Road 9. The incident involved three vehicles and resulted in injuries to two individuals.
According to the report, a 2023 Peterbilt semi-truck was traveling eastbound on Highway 7 when it collided with a westbound 2017 Subaru Crosstrek. The crash also caused damage to a nearby 2010 Ford Edge due to debris from the collision. Emergency responders from McLeod County, Lester Prairie Fire, and Winsted Fire were called to the scene to assist.
The driver of the Subaru, 27-year-old Taylor Charles Alsleben from Darwin, MN, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Glencoe Hospital for medical care. A passenger in the Subaru, Violet Ann Alsleben, a 0-year-old female, also suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the same facility. Both individuals were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident, and no alcohol was involved.
The driver of the Ford Edge, 37-year-old Melissa Ann Bergmann from Hutchinson, MN, was unharmed and did not require medical attention. The driver of the Peterbilt semi-truck, 46-year-old Bradley James Ingemann from Newport, MN, also reported no injuries.
