According to a preliminary investigation, the accident involved a southbound green Suzuki GSX-R motorcycle that was traveling at a high rate of speed. The motorcyclist reportedly collided with a northbound car that was turning left onto 89th Street from Figueroa Street. The impact of the crash caused severe injuries to the motorcyclist, who was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for medical care.
