Hamilton, NJ (November 4, 2024) – A tragic apartment fire occurred early Saturday morning in Mercer County, resulting in the death of a 35-year-old woman and serious injuries to a man who lived with her. The incident took place on the 1700 block of Klockner Road shortly after midnight.
Upon arrival, emergency responders found the 32-year-old man outside the apartment with severe burns on his hands and face. He was quickly assessed by medical personnel. Inside the apartment, emergency workers discovered Crystal Vasquez Tavarez in a front bedroom, severely burned. She was transported to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries later that morning.
