Arkadelphia, AR (November 4, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred on November 2, 2024, at approximately 11:50 a.m. on Oralee Road, resulting in the death of a minor and injuries to the operator of the vehicle. According to preliminary reports, the accident involved a 2023 Honda ATV traveling northbound when the operator lost control, causing the vehicle to roll over.
The incident took place under cloudy conditions, with the roadway reported as dry. As the ATV overturned, it landed on both the operator, identified as 31-year-old Kevin James Hutcherason from Fort Smith, and a minor passenger, whose details remain unknown. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and transported Hutcherason to Baptist Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Unfortunately, the minor passenger did not survive the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
