Webster, MO (November 4, 2024) – A serious vehicle collision occurred on Saturday afternoon at approximately 1:28 p.m. at the intersection of Highway P and Highway 38, located three miles east of Marshfield. The incident prompted a rapid response from local authorities and emergency services.
Preliminary reports indicate that the accident involved two vehicles. A 1995 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by a 17-year-old male juvenile, was traveling southbound when it crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2020 Cadillac XT5 head-on. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage and were towed from the scene by Marshfield Towing.
Injuries were reported as a result of the collision. The juvenile driver of the Chevrolet Silverado sustained injuries and was transported by a private vehicle to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. The 77-year-old female driver of the Cadillac XT5 also suffered injuries and was transported by ambulance to the same hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
