Stone, MO (November 4, 2024) – A vehicle accident occurred on Dogwood Tree Road, approximately four miles north of Reeds Spring, resulting in injuries. The incident was reported at around 11:38 a.m., prompting a response from local emergency services.
Preliminary investigations indicate that the crash involved two vehicles: a 2003 Ford Taurus and a 2003 Dodge 2500. The Ford Taurus was traveling eastbound when the driver lost control, skidding into the path of the westbound Dodge 2500. The collision resulted in moderate damage to the Taurus and extensive damage to the Dodge, both of which were towed from the scene by Whitworth Towing.
The driver of the Ford Taurus, a 42-year-old woman from Reeds Spring, sustained moderate injuries and was transported by Mercy Ambulance to Cox Branson for medical care. The driver of the Dodge, a 45-year-old man, was also from Reeds Spring and was wearing a safety device at the time of the accident. Fortunately, there were no fatalities reported.
