Lubbock, TX (October 31, 2024) – A house fire occurred Thursday morning in northeast Lubbock County, resulting in one person being hospitalized. At approximately 8:30 AM, the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office received notification of a structure fire located in the 5800 block of East Private Road 6515.
Emergency responders from the Roosevelt and Idalou Volunteer Fire Departments, along with the sheriff’s office, arrived at the scene to find a fire inside the residence. First responders quickly worked to extinguish the flames and ensure the safety of any occupants.
One female was treated for injuries sustained from the fire and was transported to UMC for further medical evaluation. The severity of her injuries remains unknown at this time.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, as authorities work to determine the circumstances surrounding this incident.
