Milwaukee, WI (October 30, 2024) – A pedestrian was injured in a multi-vehicle accident that occurred on Milwaukee’s south side on Monday morning, October 28. The incident took place just after 10 a.m. at the intersection of 31st Street and National Avenue.
According to police reports, a vehicle traveling north attempted to turn onto National Avenue when it collided with an eastbound vehicle. The impact caused the eastbound vehicle to veer into a third vehicle and struck a 48-year-old pedestrian who was in the crosswalk, attempting to cross National Avenue at the time of the accident.
The 17-year-old driver of the northbound vehicle was cited for the incident but did not sustain any apparent injuries. However, both the 36-year-old driver of the eastbound vehicle and the pedestrian were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
