College Station, TX (October 30, 2024) – A three-vehicle collision occurred along Highway 30 in College Station early Tuesday morning, resulting in injuries to two individuals. The incident took place just before 7 a.m. near Bird Pond Road, prompting a response from local emergency services.
According to Sergeant Justin Ruiz with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the driver of a Chevy Camaro was traveling east on Highway 30 when they attempted to make a left turn into a private driveway. At that moment, a Volkswagen Beetle collided with the rear of the Camaro. The impact from this crash caused the Camaro to veer into the westbound lane, where it was subsequently struck by a Jeep SUV heading west. The collision caused the Jeep to roll onto its side.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to assist those involved in the accident. The drivers of both the Camaro and the Jeep were transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan with minor injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
