San Jacinto, CA (October 25, 2024) – A hit-and-run pedestrian accident occurred on the evening of October 24, resulting in injuries to a male victim. At approximately 7:32 p.m., emergency responders, including Calfire units E25 and E3174, were dispatched to the scene of the collision at the intersection of Midway and San Jacinto.
Upon arrival, first responders found the victim lying on the side of the street. Reports indicate that the vehicle involved in the incident fled the scene, with the only description provided being that it had one headlight out. Emergency personnel quickly assessed the victim’s condition, applying a bilateral air splint to his legs for stabilization. They then utilized a scoop stretcher to safely transfer him onto a gurney for transport.
The victim was subsequently transported to Riverside University Health System (RUHS) for further medical evaluation and treatment. The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation by local authorities.
