Charlotte Hall, MD (October 24, 2024) – A rear-end collision occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning, resulting in one driver being injured and citations being issued. The incident took place on October 24, 2024, at approximately 1:15 a.m. on Three Notch Road, specifically in the vicinity of Carpenter Lane.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene to find a car that had rear-ended a dump truck, leaving the vehicle off the roadway. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) evaluated two patients present at the scene. The operator of the dump truck was transported to UM Charles Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. Meanwhile, the driver of the car that struck the dump truck refused further medical care.
