Bowling Green, KY (October 22, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle accident occurred Saturday morning in the Richardsville area of Bowling Green, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist. The incident took place at the intersection of Highway 185 and Lodge Hall Road.
According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO), the motorcyclist, identified as 53-year-old Kevin Cast from Brownsville, was traveling southbound on Highway 185 when a pickup truck with a trailer pulled out from Lodge Hall Road to make a left-hand turn. The motorcycle collided with the driver’s side of the truck.
Emergency responders, including the Richardsville Fire Department, Bowling Green Medical Center EMS, and the Collision Reconstruction Team, were dispatched to the scene. Cast was transported to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville for serious injuries but tragically succumbed to those injuries later.
The WCSO confirmed that next of kin and the Chaplain team were notified following the incident. The roadway was closed for reconstruction efforts but has since reopened.
