Arcadia, OH (October 21, 2024) – A tragic collision involving two SUVs occurred in Cass Township, resulting in one fatality and three individuals sustaining injuries. The accident took place around 2 p.m. on October 19 on Hancock County Road 109.
According to preliminary reports, Donovan Reinhart, a 20-year-old resident of Bloomville, Ohio, was traveling westbound on Hancock County Road 109 when he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection with Hancock County Road 18. This failure to yield resulted in a collision with a northbound vehicle driven by 47-year-old Wesley Keegan of Fremont.
The impact caused Mr. Reinhart’s SUV to overturn, ultimately coming to rest in a nearby field. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Mr. Keegan was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital in Findlay for medical treatment.
Two passengers in Mr. Reinhart’s vehicle were also injured. Serenity Padgett, a 19-year-old from Bucyrus, Ohio, was airlifted to Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center for her injuries. Another passenger, 19-year-old Leif Singer, also from Bloomville, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital for treatment.
