Birmingham, AL (October 20, 2024) – A tragic car crash occurred over the weekend in Mountain Brook, resulting in the death of a 33-year-old man from Washington. According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Robert Ashley May Jr. was driving on the 3900 block of Montclair Road on Saturday afternoon when the accident took place.
Emergency responders transported May to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:30 p.m. The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently under investigation by the Mountain Brook Police Department.
