Bristol, CT (October 15, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle accident occurred on Route 6 around midnight, resulting in the death of the operator. According to police reports, officers on patrol in the area observed two motorcycles traveling at a high rate of speed when they passed a sergeant.
In an attempt to stop the speeding motorcycles, the sergeant turned around and soon discovered that one of the motorcycles had crashed. The operator of the motorcycle, identified as 27-year-old Patrick McCool from Plymouth, was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately was pronounced dead upon arrival.
