Bradenton, FL (October 15, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle accident occurred Monday afternoon on State Road 70, resulting in the death of a 20-year-old motorcyclist from Palmetto. According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the incident involved a 42-year-old driver who was waiting to turn across the eastbound lanes of SR-70 onto Manor Hill Lane East when the collision occurred.
As the vehicle turned into the path of the motorcycle, the motorcyclist collided with the rear of the vehicle. The impact caused severe injuries to the young man, who was promptly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
