Willard, UT (October 14, 2024) – A tragic collision occurred on October 13 on U.S. 89 in Box Elder County, resulting in the death of one man and injuries to two others. The accident took place at approximately 11:35 p.m. on Friday when a Nissan Sentra traveling north crossed into the southbound lanes and collided with a Hyundai Santa Fe.
According to Utah Highway Patrol agent Tara Stump, the passenger in the Sentra was killed in the crash. The drivers of both vehicles were transported to nearby hospitals, where they were expected to survive their injuries.
