Preliminary reports indicate that a 2007 Ford Taurus, driven by 26-year-old Lydia Anne Redd from Sauk Rapids, was traveling eastbound on 3rd Street North when it crossed over Highway 15. At the same time, a 2021 Toyota Corolla, driven by 54-year-old Kristen Marie Math from Sartell, was traveling northbound on Highway 15. The two vehicles collided, resulting in a significant impact.

Both vehicles had airbags deployed, and fortunately, the injuries sustained by all parties involved were classified as non-life-threatening. Lydia Redd and her passengers, 25-year-old Alexis Rochelle Redd, 27-year-old Madison Marie Shane, and 27-year-old Kallie Rae Wurzberger, were transported to various medical facilities for evaluation and treatment. Lydia and Alexis were taken to Saint Cloud Hospital, while Madison and Kallie were also transported to the same facility for medical care. It was reported that Lydia, Alexis, Madison, and Kallie were all present in the Ford Taurus, and alcohol was involved in their case. Notably, Madison and Kallie were not wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.

Kristen Math, the driver of the Toyota Corolla, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Saint Cloud Hospital for medical evaluation. She was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash, and there was no indication of alcohol involvement on her part.

The road conditions at the time of the accident were dry, which may have contributed to the circumstances surrounding the collision. Emergency responders from Waite Park Police Department, St. Cloud Police Department, Mayo Ambulance, and Waite Park Fire were on the scene to provide assistance and manage the situation.
