Manchester, NH (October 11, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, October 9, resulting in the death of one individual on Interstate 93. At approximately 9:45 PM, State Troopers were dispatched to the area of the Exit 6 onramp on I-93 southbound in Manchester following reports of a serious crash.
Upon arrival, troopers found that a 2019 Toyota RAV4 had been involved in the incident. Initial witness accounts and evidence gathered at the scene indicated that the RAV4 veered off the right side of the road for reasons that remain under investigation. The SUV traveled over a grass-covered gore and entered the area of the Exit 6 onramp. Once off the road, the vehicle rolled multiple times.
During the rollover, the driver, who was confirmed to be the sole occupant of the SUV, was ejected from the vehicle. Emergency medical personnel responded promptly and transported the driver to a nearby hospital, where they later succumbed to the injuries sustained in the crash.
The name of the driver is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. All aspects of the crash remain under investigation, with State Police investigators continuing to collect evidence and interview witnesses to determine the exact cause of the accident.
