Evansville, IN (October 9, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred Monday night near the Gibson County line, resulting in the death of 78-year-old Ronald C. Hall of Evansville. The Warrick County Coroner’s office confirmed his passing following the incident.
According to Sheriff Mike Wilder, the crash was initially reported as a vehicle fire at the intersection of State Road 68 and I-69. Indiana State Police reported that the accident took place around 8 p.m. when a semi-truck exiting the interstate at SR 68 failed to stop at a stop sign, colliding with another vehicle. Upon arrival, deputies found a car engulfed in flames with an individual trapped inside.
