Lehigh Acres, FL (October 7, 2024) – A tragic vehicle crash occurred on Lee Boulevard that has resulted in the deaths of four individuals and left several others with serious injuries, some critically. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) reported that the initial collision took place at approximately 11:41 a.m. and involved three vehicles.
According to FHP, a sedan carrying five passengers was traveling westbound in the inside lane of Lee Blvd, east of Lee St. The vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, crossing over the median and entering the eastbound lanes. This led to a head-on collision with a second sedan that was traveling eastbound in the center lane of Lee Blvd.
Following the initial impact, the second sedan collided with the front-left side of a third sedan, which was also traveling eastbound in the outside lane of Lee Blvd. The sequence of events has led to devastating consequences for those involved.

The fifth passenger from the first sedan and both passengers from the second sedan were transported to Gulf Coast Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the third sedan was taken to Lehigh Regional Medical Center. The FHP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragic crash.
