Oceanside, CA (October 1, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle accident occurred on Saturday afternoon, September 28, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Karl Trayvilla from Carlsbad. The incident took place around 1:53 PM on South Coast Highway, just south of West Street.
According to the Oceanside Police Department, Trayvilla was riding with a group of motorcyclists when the front wheel of his motorcycle collided with the rear wheel of the motorcycle ahead of him. This collision caused him to lose control and be ejected from his bike. Unfortunately, a southbound vehicle on South Coast Highway was unable to stop in time and struck Trayvilla.
Emergency responders quickly transported him to Tri-City Medical Center Emergency Department for urgent medical care. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Trayvilla succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital.
