Little Rock, AR (October 1, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred early Monday morning, September 30, resulting in one fatality and one injury. The collision was reported at approximately 12:06 a.m. at 4600 Baseline Road.
According to the initial reports, 28-year-old Kylie Luvenia Womack of Little Rock was struck while in the roadway by a 2003 Hyundai traveling west on Baseline Road. The impact resulted in Womack succumbing to her injuries at the scene. Another pedestrian, identified only as Jane Doe, also from Little Rock, sustained critical injuries and was transported to UAMS for medical treatment.
The accident involved two vehicles, with the Hyundai being the first vehicle and a 2019 Suzuki traveling south on Interstate 55. The weather conditions were clear, and the road was dry at the time of the incident.
The Pulaski County Coroner’s Office is handling the deceased, and the Little Rock Police Department is conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
