Summerfield, FL (September 30, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred on Friday night, resulting in the death of one person and serious injuries to three others. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 54-year-old William Hibshman was driving under the influence when he crashed his truck into another vehicle on Highway 441, just south of Belleview.
The collision, described as a T-bone accident, involved Hibshman’s truck and a car that had four passengers. Sadly, a 72-year-old woman lost her life in the crash, while three other passengers sustained serious injuries. Following the incident, Hibshman was arrested and charged with DUI manslaughter.
