Eufaula, OK (September 29, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred on Saturday night, September 28, 2024, resulting in the death of a 34-year-old man and injuries to three others. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP), the crash happened on Highway 9 near South 4280 Road in McIntosh County just after 7 p.m.
Reports indicate that James Harp was riding a motorcycle with a female passenger when he was involved in a collision with two other motorcycles and a car. Emergency responders transported Harp to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 3 a.m. on Sunday.
The female passenger on Harp’s motorcycle, along with one of the other motorcycle drivers and a passenger from the third motorcycle, were hospitalized with various injuries. The driver of the third motorcycle reportedly refused treatment at the scene.
