Holland Township, MI (September 27, 2024) – A motorcycle accident occurred on Thursday evening, September 26, 2024, at approximately 7:51 p.m. when a motorcyclist collided with a car turning into the Target parking lot on West Shore Drive, south of Greenly Street. The incident prompted a response from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
According to investigators, a 16-year-old driver from Holland was attempting to make a left turn into the Target parking lot when the collision took place. At the same time, a 41-year-old motorcyclist from Muskegon was traveling north on West Shore Drive. As the young driver turned left, the motorcyclist was unable to avoid the collision, resulting in a crash.
The 41-year-old motorcyclist sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation and care. Fortunately, the injuries were not severe, but the incident highlights the potential dangers faced by motorcyclists on the road.
