Hurlock, MD (September 27, 2024) – A serious head-on crash occurred on Friday, September 26, 2024, at the intersection of Preston Road and Williamsburg Church Road in Dorchester County. Emergency services were alerted to the incident around 12:38 p.m., prompting a swift response from local authorities.
Upon arrival, first responders found two patients at the scene. The situation necessitated the involvement of Maryland State Police Aviation, specifically Trooper 6, for the transport of one of the injured individuals. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) also arranged for another patient to be transported by ground to TidalHealth Nanticoke for further medical evaluation and treatment.
At approximately 1:30 p.m., Trooper 6 departed for Shock Trauma with the patient requiring air transport. The conditions of both individuals involved in the crash have not been disclosed at this time, and the investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
