Odenville, AL (September 24, 2024) – A tragic accident occurred on September 20, resulting in the death of a 4-year-old boy in Odenville. The child, identified by the St. Clair County Coroner’s Office as August Elijah Farms, was struck by a vehicle in the 1700 block of Highway 411.
Following the collision, Farms was transported to Children’s of Alabama for medical treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arriving at the hospital. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the accident, and the Odenville Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking incident.
