San Antonio, TX (September 19, 2024) – A 78-year-old man was killed after being hit by a truck while crossing Huebner Rd near Babcock Rd on Wednesday evening, September 18. Law enforcement responded to the scene just before 8 p.m., where the pedestrian was struck outside of a crosswalk.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with police. Authorities indicated the driver would likely be released after questioning.
