Bourne, MA (September 18, 2024) – A three-car accident on Rte 6 near Edgehill Rd resulted in the death of a dog and four people being hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash occurred around 12:43 p.m., with two other individuals declining transportation to the hospital.

Preliminary investigations revealed that an improper left turn by one of the vehicles while exiting a rest area caused the collision with an eastbound vehicle. Both vehicles ended up in the westbound lane, where a third vehicle was involved. The dog, described as large, died at the scene.
