Greenbush Twp, MN (September 15, 2024) – A devastating collision on Hwy 95 near 120th Ave resulted in one fatality and several injuries. Ulysses Stephen Chase, 36, died when his eastbound Buick Lesabre crossed the centerline and struck a Chevrolet Equinox. The crash occurred at 11:58 AM. Chase was not wearing a seatbelt. An 11-year-old boy and a 13-year-old boy, also unrestrained, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at local hospitals.

Theresa June Miller, 41, involved in the crash, received care at St. Cloud Hospital. Geralyn Marie Weitzel, 63, driving the Equinox, suffered life-threatening injuries despite being buckled up. Her passengers, including Leanne Martha Payne, 38, and a 14-year-old girl, were also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities are continuing their investigation into this tragic incident.
