Rutherford, NJ (September 15, 2024) – Four people were hospitalized, and a driver was arrested for DUI following a crash on Route 3 early Sunday morning, September 15. The accident occurred around 5:10 a.m. in the westbound lanes near the Route 17 intersection, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
Authorities report that a 2022 Ford Ranger, driven by a suspected intoxicated driver, collided with a 2018 Honda HRV. All four passengers in the Honda sustained varying degrees of injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The driver of the Ford Ranger was arrested at the scene for suspicion of driving under the influence.
