Allen, MI (September 14, 2024) – A two-year-old girl tragically died Friday night after being struck by a car on Chicago St in Allen Township.
The incident occurred around 8:20 p.m. when the child left her home. A 2012 Volkswagen Jetta, driven by a 38-year-old man from Allen, hit the girl. First responders attempted life-saving measures before EMS transported her to Hillsdale Hospital, where she later passed away. An autopsy is planned as part of the investigation, which remains ongoing.
