Lincoln Park, MI – Officer and Driver Suffer Serious Injuries in Accident on I-75 near Dixie Hwy

Lincoln Park, MI (September 13, 2024) – A Michigan Motor Carrier Officer and another driver were hospitalized with serious injuries. Following a crash on northbound I-75 near Dixie Hwy on Friday, September 13. The officer had conducted a traffic stop on a semi-truck when a vehicle struck the officer’s patrol car around 8:40 a.m.

Both the officer and the driver of the second vehicle were transported to the hospital for treatment. Their identities have not been released.

Michigan State Police are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are expected to provide more updates as the investigation continues.
