Cadiz, KY (September 13, 2024) – A severe collision occurred early Wednesday morning, September 12, on Cadiz Rd near J Gresham Rd. Hayla Swaw, driving a van eastbound, collided with a tractor operated by Andrew West, leading to significant injuries.

West was trapped in his tractor and had to be extricated by emergency responders. He was then airlifted to a Nashville hospital, suffering from critical injuries to his head, neck, and back. The road was briefly closed for cleanup and investigation.

The Christian County Sheriff’s deputies continue to investigate the factors contributing to this serious road crash.
