Duval County, FL (September 13, 2024) – A 20-year-old Jacksonville man tragically lost his life in a crash on State Road 23 on Thursday, September 12. The Florida Highway Patrol reports that the man was driving southbound near Mile Marker 34 around 6:30 p.m. when he drove into a coned-off accident scene. His vehicle struck the rear of a parked pickup truck, pushing it forward into another car parked ahead.

The 20-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported from the crash.
