Lyndhurst, NJ (September 12, 2024) – A 10-year-old boy was seriously injured after being struck by his mother’s SUV on Tuesday morning, September 12. The incident occurred at Lyndhurst Middle School on Page Ave just before 8:30 a.m. when the rear tire of a Toyota 4Runner hit the boy as he exited the vehicle.

Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene and transported the child to Hackensack University Medical Center. Medical personnel are concerned that the boy may have sustained a broken leg and are conducting further evaluations.

The police investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
