Stone, MO – Two Injured, One Seriously, in Three-Vehicle Accident on MO 86

Stone, MO (September 11, 2024) – A serious crash involving three vehicles occurred Tuesday night on MO 86, one mile east of Carr Ln. At approximately 8:04 p.m., a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Howard Stacy, 69. Struck the rear of a John Deere Skid Loader. The Malibu then crossed the centerline and was hit by a 2007 Jeep Wrangler.

Howard Stacy and Lesley Willis, 32, the Skid Loader driver, sustained minor injuries and were transported to Cox Branson Hospital. Janet Stacy, 70, a passenger in the Malibu, suffered serious injuries and was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.

Authorities are still investigating the crash and will provide further updates as new information becomes available.
