Buchanan, WI – Fatal Motorcycle vs. Semi-Truck Collision at County Road CE & GG

Buchanan, WI (September 11, 2024) – A tragic incident unfolded in Buchanan on Tuesday evening, September 10 where a 19-year-old woman from Brillion died after her motorcycle collided with a semi-truck. The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office reported the accident occurred around 5:46 p.m. at the intersection of County Road CE and County Road GG.

The semi-truck was traveling south on County Road GG attempting to cross at County Road KK when the motorcycle, heading west on County Road CE, struck the truck. Despite immediate life-saving attempts, the young motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi, a 27-year-old man from Kaukauna, was uninjured. Following the crash, the intersection was closed for approximately four and a half hours for investigation and cleanup but has since reopened. Authorities are still investigating the crash to determine the precise cause and circumstances.
