Exeter, NH (September 10, 2024) – A male cyclist was injured early Tuesday morning, September 10 after a vehicle struck him near Front St and Winter St. The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. as the cyclist traveled outbound with traffic when a Nissan Rogue, making a left turn, failed to yield and collided with him.
The cyclist, who was wearing a helmet, was immediately transported to Portsmouth Regional Hospital’s trauma center by ambulance. The extent of his injuries has not been confirmed. Meanwhile, the driver of the Nissan was uninjured in the crash.
The driver was cited for failing to yield to the cyclist. Authorities are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
