Brooklyn Park, MN (September 9, 2024) – A pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a Buick Encore while crossing the intersection of Hwy 252 and Brookdale Dr on Saturday night. The accident occurred around 11:34 PM when the northbound Buick, driven by Alfred Nyariki, 26, hit Seng Thor, 34, of Saint Cloud.

Thor was transported to North Memorial Hospital with critical injuries. Nyariki, the driver, was uninjured, and no alcohol was involved. Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
