Washington Parish, LA – Fatal Three-Car Crash on LA Hwy 10

Washington Parish, LA (September 7, 2024) – On Friday night, a devastating three-car incident on LA Highway 10 close to Oak Tree Road left one person dead and numerous others injured. When Rose Tate, 53, lost control of her Nissan Altima while traveling east, she entered the westbound lane and struck a Toyota RAV4 and subsequently a Toyota Sienna.

Tate was declared dead at the scene despite not wearing a seatbelt. Both the driver of the RAV4 and the passenger in her car were sent to a nearby hospital with moderate injuries. The driver of the Sienna was unharmed. The crash is still being investigated by Louisiana State Police.
