Moses Lake, WA (September 6, 2024) – A pedestrian was tragically killed on Thursday, September 5. While crossing SR 17 near Stratford Rd in Moses Lake. The incident occurred around 2 p.m. when a 51-year-old woman from Yakima attempted to cross from the southbound to northbound lanes.

The pedestrian was struck by a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Rogelio Montoya of Moses Lake. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and her identity is being withheld pending family notification.
