Jefferson, MO – Multiple Injuries in Multi-Vehicle Collision on MO 110 at Fountain City Rd

Jefferson, MO (September 6, 2024) – A serious three-vehicle collision occurred on MO 110 at Fountain City Road at 11:47 AM, resulting in multiple injuries. A 2021 Kia K5, driven by Jaleesa O. Lewis, 32, of De Soto, collided with a Toyota Camry and a Jeep Cherokee under complex circumstances.

Lewis, traveling eastbound, failed to navigate the intersection correctly, striking the Camry which had just entered the intersection. Subsequently, the Kia veered into the opposite lane, impacting the Jeep. Lewis and Alberta P. Callahan, 65, from Bonne Terre, who drove the Camry, sustained serious and minor injuries, respectively, and were transported to Mercy Hospital South by Valle Ambulance.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the sequence of events leading to this crash.
