The accident occurred around 7:15 a.m. as the pedestrian was crossing in a marked crosswalk. Emergency responders transported the injured person to Grandview Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the vehicle, a Jetta, remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities. Perkasie Police, Perkasie Fire Company, and the Bucks County District Attorney’s CRASH team responded to the incident.
