Alameda, CA – Pedestrians Injured After Vehicle Crashes Into Café near Park St

Alameda, CA (September 6, 2024) – A car struck two pedestrians before crashing into Gong Cha café Thursday morning near Park St and Santa Clara Ave. The incident occurred around 9:55 a.m. as the driver made a left turn from Santa Clara Ave. Although the pedestrians’ injuries were not serious, they were taken to a hospital for observation.

The driver, who was not injured, had to be removed from the vehicle by Alameda firefighters. The cause of the crash is under investigation, and authorities have not confirmed whether any citations were issued.
