Las Vegas, NV (September 5, 2024) – A catastrophic collision at the intersection of N Eastern Ave and Searles Ave early on September 2 left one person dead and another critically injured. The incident involved a pickup truck and an SUV among three vehicles.
A Chevrolet Tahoe was struck by a speeding RAM 2500, which then rolled over, hitting a luminary support and a utility pole. A GMC Sierra also collided with the Chevrolet’s rear. The Chevrolet’s driver, a 33-year-old man from North Las Vegas, died from his injuries at UMC. The RAM’s driver, 18-year-old Francisco Ruiz Ramos Jr., is in critical condition. The investigation into the crash continues as authorities piece together the events leading up to the tragedy.
