St. Louis, MO (September 5, 2024) – A crash involving a 2020 Jeep Wrangler and a 2015 Volvo truck left one person seriously injured on Wednesday, September 4. Authorities report the Jeep made an unsafe lane change on I-44 eastbound, striking the Volvo’s towed unit.

Connor Atwood, 29, the driver of the Jeep, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital South by the Fenton Fire Protection District. The driver of the Volvo, Eric Tenney, 55, was unharmed.
